High wattage per unit means fast response and strong heat flux, so the adhesive hits its gel point quickly. The tube length is 300mm for a reason. It gives you a tight thermal window without creating a huge hot zone. That size makes it easy to line units up side-by-side and match the glass width evenly—no hot spots. Inside the tube, a halogen element sits in a quartz envelope. Quartz handles thermal shock well and keeps output stable, even when you cycle lamps on and off as the zone logic calls for. The coating on the tube is tuned for infrared transmission and durability. It stands up to chemicals from coatings and cleaning agents, while still delivering the wavelength profile that heats the adhesive evenly. We use an R7s connector because it’s industrial-grade and a direct replacement. It handles high temperature, shakes off vibration, and wires up fast.
