Most shops are still relying on old resistive heaters that spend more time heating up the oven walls than actually treating the glass. We use a halogen cycle that basically &amp;ldquo;recycles&amp;rdquo; the tungsten, pushing evaporated bits back onto the filament. Clean them up or replace them.&#xA;Also, you&amp;rsquo;ll want to double-check your PID controllers.
