The Secret to “Explosion-Proof” Glass
To stop that from happening, we use a specific kind of explosion-proof quartz. Now, don’t let the name scare you. It doesn’t mean the heater is a bomb. It just means the glass is built to handle those wild temperature swings without giving up. Even if the glass does fail, these tubes are treated so they don’t spray shards all over your bathroom floor. Inside, there’s a tungsten filament doing the heavy lifting. The Catch (Because There’s Always One)
To get that heat to move through the glass efficiently, we have to use high-purity quartz. It’s great for warmth, but it’s a bit picky.
